Will you watch the Paris 2024 Olympics?

Four years ago, the COVID-19 pandemic made for an unconventional 2020 Olympics for Tokyo, which makes this year's Paris games even more exciting. However, I've personally cut cable and don't have a Peacock subscription. So, rather than paying for yet another streaming service, I'm thinking of taking Chris Hachey's advice and investing in a smart TV antenna to watch my favorite events like women's gymnastics and men's swimming for free. That is, when I'm not actually in Paris for the Olympics as I was lucky enough to snag some seats for the men's basketball final game.

Over a decade later, and we're still talking about the iPhone 4s

Patrick is right -- the iPhone 4s from 2011 is still a stunner today. Its design really set it apart back in the day, with its classy glass back. Yes, it's a solid and blocky phone, but frankly, it's easier to grip than the super slim phones we all have now. One of the quirkiest things about this old phone is the 30-pin connector. I remember how much of a pain this was to disconnect, but at the same time, it clicks in so satisfyingly secure -- something you don’t really get with today’s connectors. Plus, there’s something neat about the camera being flush with the back of the phone, unlike today’s models with their camera bumps. Despite its pretty outdated specs, the iPhone 4s was ahead of its time. It’s a blast from the past and a reminder of how much things have evolved. It’s more than just nostalgia; it’s a nod to Apple’s lasting impact on phone design and tech in general. I got to say, though... I don't miss the home button.

Do you still collect physical audio mediums?

In the wake of Spotify's price hikes, and the debate of lossless audio, it feels like there's been a call for a return to the past. This seems to coincide with the fact that recent years have brought the return of vinyl records to the forefront of music culture. It seems like everyone knows someone who collects vinyls and has a record player in their house. They have an aesthetically pleasing look to them, and provide a certain quality you can't get elsewhere. They also provide a sense of pride, when you find that vinyl you've been looking for or an artist you like releases a new record with custom artwork. You can set it up in your shelf and be glad you found it. The downside of vinyl has been this very thing though. Vinyls are very expensive, sometimes as much as $50 USD for a new one. It's something that can be hard to justify when you can't take it on the go, and Spotify is still not charging that much a month. Are you looking to start/continue physical audio collection or will you
